Here’s a video I shot and edited for Okay Africa back in 2016.
So a couple of weeks ago, Elliot and I produced a #musicvideo for a dope af friend, fellow filmmaker and amazing singer @vonmiddleton for his song #putitonyou Making art with friends is always dope 🙏🏿 check out the full song by searching “Put it On You Von Middleton” on YouTube. 🎥 @clutchmastere 🎬 @paul.noticeaka @thenoticeblog
Back in 2017, I recorded an interview with a good friend of mine, David Crownson who happens to also be the creator of Harriet Tubman : Demon Slayer. The interview lasted 4 hours - because we both have ADD and like to talk a lot. So I cut out the rabbit trails, and made a series out of it, called: "Brief Talks w/ David Crownson" Enjoy!

So it's been a while since I've posted any new stuff on this page, and that's because of a lot things. BUT. That period has ended, and now there'll be a ton more things flowing out way more often.
“Never one to shy away from controversy, Dawkins’ conclusion ruffled feathers to say the least, with patriotic Brits accusing him of insensitivity towards veterans, diehard atheists accusing him of changing course.”
- Sanders Gusinow
I shot this photo series, while filming an untitled Sci Fi Thriller out in Haiti. I rarely try to center cis male perspectives, but in this series, I wanted to capture feelings of family, isolation and restlessness we all felt as Black men during this process. It was something I felt ought to be captured in some way. I dunno, I’ll write more on it later, once everything’s processed.
There were countless moments captured behind the lens during this documentary. Take a look at the photography from the very first days of the documentary.

A quick prose written from the first few nights in Nairobi
Ok, I don't usually post personal things, but here's why I'm still going to Nairobi this Fall:
The idea of #travelingabroad alone has always haunted me..
This is one of the very first doc series I created with Glenn Quentin. The Heights follows a group of black & latinx actors living in Washington Heights, who are also performing in the musical, “The Heights.”
I wanna spotlight one of our favorite clients: Eugenia Shea Butter Co. They’ve been with us since the beginning, and are a Black-owned Mother-Daughter team that supports thousands of women farmers in Ghana.
Harriet. Tubman. Demon. SLAYER. 'Nuff said.
Here's a sneak peek of "No Homo No Hetero," an upcoming documentary shot & edited by our Paul Notice and produced by Glenn Quentin , along Heru Kut & David J. Cork.
I've always complained about this bizarre trope we see in modern films. Checkout this awesome video that examines the use of "abduction as romance" in entertainment.
Here’s an old trailer about a new episode coming up on The Notice Blog! Featuring Derrick Langeneckart of Alpha Brewing Co.
