The Award-Winning TV Show “The Notice Blog” is Seeking Interns!

The Notice Blog creates Film, TV and Digital media that is not only engaging, but informative. Our work will always be inclusive in representing the complexities of the world through both fictional narratives and investigative reporting. 

The Notice Blog is looking for two aspiring editor/filmmakers looking to learn some tips from an Emmy Award Winning Producer on a local access tv show! The Editing/Production Interns will report to the Director of Video and will assist in video production and editing, as well as scheduling and production coordination.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizing previous videos for film festival submissions

  • Basic Editing: follow show Executive Producer’s Notes in combining already edited video segments & Vlogs together into 28 minute episodes

  • Scheduling appointments for TNB and ClutchMasterE studios.

  • Assisting in on set Production

  • 10-15 hours weekly

  • Work Remotely with in-person check-ins twice a month.

  • Supports organizing / archiving videos and related assets in collaboration with team.

  • Works closely with producers to shape and edit stories, carefully crafting cuts of content, and sharing out.

REQUIREMENTS / TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • 1-2 years of directly related work experience and editing.

  • 2 years experience working as an editor with showreel.

  • Strong video editing skills and ability to turn videos around quickly.

  • Strong production and storytelling experience.

  • Proficiency in video editing software : Adobe Premiere Pro CC, After Effects.

  • Knowledge of Audio Design & Color Grading.

  • Knowledge and understanding of motion graphics.

  • Creative thinker.

  • Strong Storytelling abilities.

  • Knowledge of different video formats and video file conversions.

  • Knowledge of converting video files from multiple formats.

  • Has online video publishing and file transfer expertise.

  • Expert knowledge of video and audio production and post-production equipment.

  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience and understanding of digital media world

  • Organizational and communication skills.

  • Very strong verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate reproductive health issues and advocacy issues.

  • Commitment to quality, results, and superior performance.

  • Must be able to plan projects on very tight deadlines, and must be able to turn around shooting and editing projects on very tight deadlines.
